This is a strange Primary for sure. Democrats have not one, but two great people to choose from as their nominee for President. If you asked me last year who I would vote for, I’d have said Barack Obama. When he spoke at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, I thought he was destined for greatness. I still do. However after watching both candidates these past few months, I find myself coming back to Hillary Clinton. She is working harder than anyone else and really seems to have the conviction and the specifics to solve the problems Americans face.
Senator Barack Obama is a force to be reckoned with, and if he is the Democratic nominee, he will have my full and enthusiastic support. However, during the debates he had trouble with strong, decisive answers, and reverted to generalities when specific solutions were needed. I believe in the message of hope, and optimism, but I’m not really into reaching across the aisle right now. For 8 years, the President, and a mostly Republican Congress have managed to screw things up abroad and here at home. I want someone at the helm who will quickly go in and right the wrongs. The last thing we need is a big table with a lot of people and lots of meetings. Did you ever try to run something by committee? It usually ends up in wasted time. I trust that President Hillary Clinton knows exactly what to do when she gets in the Oval Office, and will get it done quickly.
I’m voting for Hillary Clinton for President. This is a contest I am watching, but I don’t have rose colored glasses. It’s going to be a fight for her if she makes it past Pennsylvania, and an uphill one at that. However no one can disagree with this one very important fact…Hillary Clinton is a fighter, and I’d love to see her win. |
