I've never been to it, or been to a Super Bowl for that matter, but the NFL's Media Day seems like it's a parody of itself.
Yesterday was Media Day and the biggest news coming from it was a Mexican "reporter" dressed in a skimpy wedding gown who asked Tom Brady and Eli Manning to marry her.
What strikes me as odd is the fact that the NFL takes itself and everything surrounding it so seriously. It's not exactly the WWE when it comes to attitude. It was the NBC that ordered NBC to move the show "Vegas" from Monday to Friday's so there would be no chance the network would promo the show during it's Sunday Night Football franchise. The NFL doesn't acknowledge Las Vegas, because of gambling. Meanwhile the whole gambling thing is one of the reasons why the NFL is so popular.
It's no skin off my back if the NFL keeps Media Day the way it is.
