Lloyd was one of the older Bridges. And the day came when it was time for him to pass into history. And so it is for the West Lackawanna Avenue Bridge in Scranton. It was a satisfactory connector since the 30's...but all old things must come to an end. And today is the day for the span. Once it is removed, the new one will be built to carry traffic across the Lackwanna River and railroad tracks.
