That's easy to do when we're dealing over the telephone with company representatives. After pushing number 1 for this, and number 4 for that, it can get maddening before you reach a live person.
I called Verizon yesterday to bundle some services. The woman "Monica" couldn't have been nicer, and helped me as I completed my transaction. I was on the phone for over an hour and twenty minutes! By the end of that time my problem wasn't resolved and she told me she'd call back when it was.
Later last night she called back at 6:15 and told me that while the problem wasn't yet resolved, she didn't want me to think she forgot about it and that she'd be on it first thing this morning when she came in. I thought that was pretty cool.
So while the phone company is an easy target for complaints, I thought I'd let you know about a positive experience.
